Nasal-

Nicotine for smoking cessation, calcitonin (osteoporisis), dihydroergotamine (migraines), costicosteroids (allergies and asthma)

Nasal sprays-Accuspray,Rhinocort (asthma and allergies) , 4-way (Nasal Decongestant), Afrin (sinus medicine), Ayr (sooths dry,stuffy and sore, tender noses, decongestant), Entsol(nasal wash), Flight Spray (Nasal Hydration Spray), NatraBio (cold and sinus medication), NasalCrom (Allergy Prevention/controller), Neo-Synephrine (decongestant), Nostrilla (moisturizer), Similasan (hay fever relief).

Squeeze bottles and liquid droppers are also administered through the nasal passage as allergy and cold medications.

Intradermal-

Tuberculin (used in Mantoux test for testing for Tuberculosis), Intradermal route is used for allergy and disease screening, or for local anesthesic delivery prior to venous cannulation, Influenza Vaccine is sometimes injected Intradermally. Cellutitis antibiotics. Oestrogen is used to diagnose dermatitis. Hypersensitivity is tested intradermally.

Instillation
Drugs that are delivered using the instillation/irrigation method are saline, artificial tears, Proparacaine HCL, Tetracaine, Mydriacyl, Atropine, Pilocarpine, and some antibiotics.

Drugs that are administered using the inradermal method are Purified protein derivatives (PPD) and some vaccines. Patients are also tested for allergies using the intradermal method.
